Ola Marie Layton's Obituary
Ola Marie Layton (Avery) passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on April 6, 2017 at the young age of 73. She was born on March 7, 1944 in Noel,Missouri to the late Aubrey & Ida Avery. Preceded in death by siblings; Paul Avery, Leo Avery, Wilburn Avery and Marjorie James.. The siblings she leaves behind are; Pete Avery of Marion, Kansas-Dorothy Friend of Sacramento, CA and Marvin Avery of Cameron Park, CA.
Ola was a loving mother to Rhonda and husband Ken Goodson, Paula and husband Richard Clayton, Tonja and husband Dan Fruge’, Dallas Parcher and Tina Layton.
She was a devoted Nana to Ricky, Joey, Marcus, Brett, John, Kyla & Dallas Jr. and a great grandmother to Lilyana, Michael, Ruby and Katelynn.
Ola had many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, Some of which referred to her as their other Mother.
Ola had many loves in life; other than her family she enjoyed fishing, camping, long car rides, jewelry and the occasional trip to the casino which was referred to by her late sister Marjorie as going to church.
Ola will be remembered as a kind, gentle and loving sister, mother, nana and great grandmother. She was also a kind hearted and generous friend to all who knew her. Nothing gave her more joy
than her family. She will be deeply missed by all.
At Ola’s request there will only be a viewing on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes.
