Ocie V. Painter
Born April 15, 1928 in Darling, Mississippi to Arthur and Minnie Kitchen. She was the youngest of 5 siblings. She is preceded in death by her son Richard Dale Martin and leaves behind 3 daughters. Dana (Martin) Powell and husband Chris, Deb (Martin) Truitt and husband Willie and Renee (Martin) Dec and husband Jon. She had 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was waitress at Fong’s Café for many years, then worked for Contadina Cannery and retired from there. She loved to play bingo, Yahtzee and go to the Casino. If you knew her you were one of the lucky ones. To know her was to love her. She will be missed by many.
Services will be held at Chapel of Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95838 at 10:00 a.m. There will be a celebration of life from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Elks
Lodge, 500 Bush Street, Woodland, CA. In lieu of Flowers please make any donations to the Woodland Elks Lodge BPOE 1299.
