Leonhardt, Norman A.
A native to Sacramento, Norman was born January 26, 1953 to Marian and Joseph Leonhardt. He passed away after a brief illness on August 20, 2013. He attended Rio Linda High School, then went on to work for the Department of Motor Vehicles for 37 years until his retirement in 2008. He was considered a gentle giant by co-workers and family. Norman is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pamela Vittore; son Jonathan and his wife Annie; two grandsons Brody and Gavin; his mother and father; brother David; two nieces; one nephew; and four great nieces. A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, August 29, at 1:00 pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95838 In Lieu of flowers please send donations to your favorite charity in Norman’s name or those he supported: Sacramento Food Bank, Sacramento Loaves and Fishes, UCD Mind Institute and Aspire-Seven Hills Foundation in MA.
