Norman Barron
March 26, 1948-February 6, 2020
Norman Earl Barron was born on March 26,1948 in Clinton, Iowa. He was one of three children with one brother and one sister.
He moved to Tacoma Washington in 1950 and later joined the Army from 1972-1978 in Fort Bliss, Texas where he served his military career as a tailor in the Army Uniform Department.
He moved to Washington State and was married to Terri for 14 years (later divorced). He married Sue Noll on June 6, 2010 in Tacoma Washington and later they resided in California.
Norman worked in Security in the Tacoma area for many years.
He passed away on Feb 6 in Auburn, California from Parkinson’s Disease, having been diagnosed ten years ago.
Although quiet and seemingly reserved, Norman is fondly remembered for his kindness, faith in the Lord, warmth and generous spirit, as well as his love for his wife, daughter and grandchildren. He was a great 49er’s fan and enjoyed playing golf and had a love for cats and dogs. As a hobby, Norman also collected mini police cars. He greatly enjoyed the travels he and Sue made to California ocean beaches. He looked forward to Heaven and being with Jesus.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Barron in Rocklin California as well as his daughter, Sarah Shenefield in Spanaway Washington plus three grandchildren: Hailey 12 years old, Kyle 10 years old, and Gabriel 7 years old.
