Norma Louise Ellis of Rancho Cordova passed away at the age of 70 on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Mercy Folsom Hospital after an unexpected illness. Norma was born on December 19, 1944 in San Francisco to John and Pearl Shook. As a young child, her family moved from San Francisco to North Sacramento where she attended Grant High School. She married the love of her life, Terry Keith Ellis, and had two boys. She enjoyed many hobbies with her family including camping, water skiing, motorcycle riding and snow skiing to name a few. She was a dedicated employee at Pacific Bell for over 25 years and then worked at Aerojet for over 15 years. In her retirement years, she could be found with friends playing Bingo at Madison Mall, pulling slot machines in Tahoe and local casinos, and worship-ing at The Gathering Place Church in Folsom. She was very proud of her 2 grandsons and cherished time spent with them. Norma is survived by her sons Brian Keith Ellis (Pamela) and David Michael Ellis (Whitney), grandsons Justin Ellis and Carter Ellis. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother Sydney Shook. Visitation is to be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 4-8 pm, with Funeral Services on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 10:00 am. Services will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes at 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95838. Norma will be greatly missed by many!
