Noe Chabiel Montez
Born November 13, 1929 in Corcoran California lived 87 years until his passing April 19, 2017.
Noe was preceded in death by his parents Remijio and Luisa Montez brothers Samuel, Benjamin, Cleofas Montez, sons Martin Sr. and Frank Sr. Diez survived by his wife Enedina Montez, sisters and brothers Eva Wyckoff, Rebecca Martinez, David Montez, Rachel Hernandez, Remijio Montez, Jose Montez, 3 daughters Rosemary, Diana, Lisa 8 nieces 21 nephews many great nieces and nephews.
In July 1987 Noe married with Enedina Q. Nieblas Diez which brought into Noe’s life an additional 6 sons Martin, Marcos, Henry, Frank, Elias and Santos Diez and 1 daughter Mercedes Nanca, 21 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. All who learned to respect, love and gain many life lessons from him.
Noe served in the United States Army enlisting at age 22 on February 20th 1951 ending his active duty service in the Korean War through February 12, 1953. He continued with United States Army Reserves through August 27th, 1956.
Noe has worked various jobs in Local Cannery, El Hispano newspaper and even owned a bar; however he ultimately began a career as a Certified Public Accountant providing financial accounting, bookkeeping, and income tax preparation. He was mostly known for his business of more than 40 years as Noe C. Montez Tax Services. In addition, Noe was very active in helping migrant workers with legal document preparation and bilingual services.
Noe C. Montez never forgot his roots, touched many hearts and he will be greatly missed. We love you!
