Mozetta Williams' Obituary
WILLIAMS, MOZETTA, entered into rest Thursday, June 27, 2002 age 85. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana born Sunday, October 8, 1916 and a resident of Sacramento County for 56 years. Devoted mother of Rex Williams Jr., Patricia Brown and Linda Faye Hamilton. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Rex Williams Sr., a daughter Carolyn Jean Goree, both parents Mose and Rebecca (Thomas) Oliver and a half sister Pearl Price. She was a member of Christ Unity Church, Sister of Mercy, Pulmo Pals' and Mercy Guild. Mozetta was an avid 'Kings' fan and loved watching 'Tiger Woods' play golf on TV. The family invites you to attend a visitation 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 2, 2002 and a funeral service 12:00 Noon Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacto., Ca. Interment will follow at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
