Milton Harmon's Obituary
Milton Harmon was born on May 10, 1936 to Clell Harmon and Rose Partee, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was the second child of six, born to this union. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and entered the U.S. Air Force, where he attained the rank of Master Sergeant, serving 26 years. During his years of service in the AF, he met his beloved wife of 53 years, Louise Harmon in Hawaii. They married in 1965. He retired and they made their home in Sacramento, CA.
Deacon Harmon owned the Delta Janitorial Service, serving much of the Sacramento area
We must mention the fact that Deacon Harmon was a man that loved to dress. At any given time, he was “as sharp as a tack” wearing suits of many colors with all accessories to match.
He had the hat, the shoes, the socks, the tie clip and cuff links to match. His choice of car was a caddy (Cadillac).
Milton joined Faith in 1984 and was a very dedicated Deacon and member, holding numerous positions and participating in numerous positions ministries, such as Sunday Schoolteacher, Deacon, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, BTC instructor, Chairman of the Trustee Board, Senior Ministry Bible Leader, New Convert Class Instructor, mall, Chorus member and soloist and Outreach Ministry member.
Deacon Harmon was called home on Sunday, February 5, 2017. He dedicated his life to serving the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
He leaves to cherish his memories., His beloved wife Louise (Daisy); two daughters, Lithasha Harmon, Sandra Portley and one son, Orlando Harmon; one sister, Glenda Salbury (Eddie) and one brother, Willard Harmon (Jean); Grands , Michael Harmon Sr., Therin Mullins, Marshay Harris, Alisha Harmon, Sherice Wroten ; sic great-grands and a host of nieces, nephews,family and friends.
