Pastor Michael Rodgers' Obituary
Michael Timothy Rodgers, Sr., was born in Culver City and raised in California. He passed away in his home in Antelope on Thursday, September 18, surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife Bernadette and his 3 children, Heather (Michael), Michael (Jessica), and Julie (Joseph), and 12 grandchildren.
Early in adulthood, he joined the United States Air Force and served a total of nearly 7 years between active duty and the reserves. He spent most of his adult life in service to God and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For 34 years, he pastored Faith Baptist Tabernacle in North Highlands. He loved God, his family, his church, and his country. He was the best husband, dad, and papaw ever! We will miss him so very much until we are reunited with him in heaven.
