Maurice John Malumphy (Jay)
Born June 16, 1947 in Sacramento, CA. Preceded by Mother Barbara Malumphy and Father Maurice Malumphy. Survived by Sons John and Chuck Malumphy, Daughter – in Laws Jeanine, Wendy, and April, Nine Grandchildren John, Jasmine, Bianca, Blake, C.J., David, Danny, Kaylee, Autumn.
Jay spent four years in the Army as a mechanic. After leaving the Army he married Deanna and they were married 10 years. Five years later he married Althea and they were married four years.
Jay loves were hunting, fishing, camping, horseback riding and four wheeling and of course the LADIES. Whenever Jay saw a lady, his favorite saying was “Well Hello Darling”
When Jay met a friend they were not considered just a friend but a brother. He was very devoted to his friends. And many friends he had. He was a hard worker and would help any of his family or friends when in need. He was a master mechanic and worked for Goodyear for 20 years.
Jay’s house was always a gathering for all his friends. They would sit in the garage and talk and drink. Jay always had plenty of spirits for his friends. He shared his home with two friends Paul and Ken.
