Mary Jean Patterson's Obituary
Mary Jean Patterson, aged 95, went peacefully to rest in the arms of her Lord on July 21, 2017, surrounded by family. Born in 1922, Mary weathered the depression and World War II, married, had her family of 3 children, and served her country as the spouse of CMSgt Reed Thomas Patterson, USAF ret, who predeceased her.
Mary’s husband and children, her Catholic faith, and her love of music were the mainstays of her life. She served her Church wherever she lived as a choir member or director. As the children grew up and left home, Mary turned her attention to her next passions, her grandchildren and bridge. Up until the Tuesday before she passed on, she desired and attempted to go play bridge with her friends.
