Marlene Bastian entered into rest February 8, 2012 in Sacramento, California, at the age of 74. Born December 19, 1937 a native of Sacramento, California. She is survived by her children Michele Limeberger (Mark) and Michael Bastian, siblings Erwin Hayer (Sandy), Arnold Hayer and sister-in-law Janice Hayer. Marlene is also survived by her niece Cheryl Hayer and nephews Heath, Jeff, Greg and Steven Hayer. She is preceded in death by Roiden and Lillian Hayer and Travis Hayer.Marlene was CIF Commission Secretary, a member of Rio Linda Swim Team, Rio Linda Sr. High School Booster Club, Rio Linda Park and Recreation Board, Dry Creek School PTA President and Chairman of Rio Linda Methodist Church Memorial.A visitation will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 4:00-8:00pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95838A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 11:00am at Rio Linda Community United Methodist Church 6800 6th Street, Rio Linda, CA 95673In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Rio Linda Community United Methodist Church P.O.
