Marjorie Ruth Valles' Obituary
Marjorie (Marge) Ruth Garcia Valles received her wings Saturday June 3rd, 2023 at 6:30 pm
peacefully at her home in Kelseyville, California. She would have been 85 this year on October
20th. Born in 1938 this lovely lady was born in the grapevines near Fresno to Guadalupe Garcia
and Esther Sanchez. As she was loved and known to family, friends and students from both
Sacramento’s YMCA and in Lakeport, California after school programs for Native American
children known as LCCCIA.
Marge is now able to reunite with her predeceased husband Macario “Mac” T Valles of Las
Cruces, New Mexico and her predeceased children Jerry P Valles, Ray A. Valles of
Sacramento,California, Cindy Ramirez of Denver, Colorado and grandchild Belen Gilmore of
Rio Linda, California. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth A Valles of Kelseyville,
California, her sister Linda Meras of Nice, California. Her Grandchildren Regina Valles of Rio
Linda, Alex Valles of North Highland, California, Vincent Ortiz of Denver, Colorado, Ray Valles,
Joel Valles, Anthony Valles, Marlena Ramirez, and Gina Valles. Marge had many great
grandchildren, and great great grandchildren who will also love and miss her dearly…
Very dedicated to the Catholic religion, she battled multiple health issues but rarely let it show.
Looking no older than 65, in her younger years she had dropped out of school to work and help
provide for her family doing anything from foot modeling to using clothes press machines, she’s
assisted her husband with his construction business, worked as a cook for YMCA and tutored
many children as she too would learn with them… those children now young adults share their
gratitude, love and respect. Because without her strict guidance that she raised the majority of
us who knew her would not be where we are today. With that we thank you and love you. Many
blessings
