Maria Teresa Russell's Obituary
Maria Teresa "Terri" Russell of Rio Linda California passed away on Friday 17, 2023 at the age of 65. after a brief struggle of declining health, Terri pass peacefully at home with her husband at her side. She was born to Raul and Estella Gonzalez on June 4, 1957 in San Jose, California. Terri graduated from Monache High School "Porterville" California in 1975. Following High School she attended Porterville College and earned her Psych Tech Degree. Terri worked at the Good Shepard Care Home for special need patients in Terra Bella, California short time. in 1984 she went to work at the Porterville Developmental Hospital. while working during the day she attended night classes at Bakersfield College. She graduated with her Registered Nurse License. Was employed at Porterville Hospital and spent much of her time there in Emergency Room. Terri was offered a job for the State of California as an Health Clinics Inspector. She worked out of the Fresno office for several years, then in 1993 relocated to the Sacramento offices. Continuing to inspect, her roll grew as an Health Contracts Reviewer. After 30 years of State service she retired where she enjoyed yard work, gardening "Flowers were her passion" thrift store shopping, camping, cooking and walking the dogs around the pond. Terri is survived by her husband of 22 years, Roger Unruh, Raul Gonzalez Sr. Father, Mika Gonzalez Stepmother, Leticia Gonzalez: Sister, Raul Gonzalez Jr: Brother, Cindy Gonzalez: Sister in law, Mike Gonzalez: Brother, Jennifer Gonzalez: Sister in law, John Gonzalez: Brother, Benjamen Gonzalez; Nephew, Alex Gonzalez: Nephew, Zachary Gonzalez: Nephew, Gabe Gonzalez: Nephew, Nicholas Gonzalez: Nephew, Barbara Franklin: Niece, Olivia Gonzalez: Niece, Felicia Acosta: Niece, Proceeded in Death by Estella Gonzalez: Mother. Terri is together with her mother now in the presents of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!!
