ãGrandmaäJanuary 31, 1925 æ September 10, 2003TAGALA, MARCELA CORTES, At the age of 78. Marcela was called home to Heaven to be with her late husband Dr. Eugene Tagala. She was born in Bulacan, Philippines and resided in North Highlands, California since 1971. She was the beloved wife of a United States Air Force Dentist. Marcela was a wonderful home maker and leaves behind to cherish her memory 9 children, Elvy Dabrowski, Myrna Dunn, Evelyn Smith, Larry Tagala, Bettie Matranga, Lucy Ann Tagala, Margie Ball, Tessie Schlaline, Eugene Tagala Jr. Also 2 step children Ester Miller and Ed Tagala, 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Her trips to Reno, Lake Tahoe and playing bingo always put a smile on her face. Her loving family will miss her greatly. The family invites you to attend a visitation 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Sunday September 14, 2003 and a funeral service 10:00 am Monday, September 15, 2003 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacto., CA. 922-5833. Entombment will follow at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
