Louis James Phulps' Obituary
Louis J. Phulps, born December 27, 1933 to Clem and Helen Phulps, went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2013. Louie is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife Ann; brothers Clem, Gene and Bob; sisters Helen, Evelyn and and his infant twin; and step-grandson, Glenn. He is survived by his devoted wife, Janis; loving children, Theresa (CT) Young, David (Debbie) Phulps and Steven Phulps; stepdaughters, Debbie (Eric) Hobbs, Cathy (Gary) Sterkel and Donna (Jeff) Wise; grandchildren, Rachele and Nichole Young; Step Grandchildren, Brian (Megahan) , Tony Zapata, Jolene Hobbs, Hillary and Logan Wise; great grandchildren, Anthony and Elise Young, JP and Teagan Zapata; brother Harry (Jeannie) Phulps and sister, Beverly (Herman) ; many other loving family members and friends. Louie served in the US Army , then worked at California Almond Growers until his retirement. He was an Avid Pittsburg
Steelers fan and enjoyed coaching in Rio Linda Little League for many years. He and Janis have been active members of the First Baptist Church of Rocklin for many years. He will be dearly remembered for his loving, compassionate ways by all who knew him, and sorely missed until we meet again. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, 11:00 am., at The First Baptist Church of Rocklin, 5425 Coronada Way, Rocklin, (916) 624-5760 with a Graveside Service on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, 10:00 am., at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95838.
