Lottie Reindel's Obituary
REINDEL, Lottie Alma (Blum)Passed away at her daughter’s home on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the age of 81. She would’ve celebrated her 82nd birthday on March 12. She was one of 12 children born to the late Louis & Floy Blum, of St. Louis, MO. On 12/29/45, she married the late Edward J. Reindel Sr., and had two children, Edward John and Edna Ann. In 1956, the family relocated to Sac, CA, where they would eventually settle in the town of Rio Linda. Lottie resided in Rio Linda for 50 yrs until moving to Idaho in Oct. 2005 to live with her daughter Edna and son-in-law, Michael Sims. Lottie had a great love for family and friends and a strong faith in the Lord. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and sister and a devoted grandma and great-grandma. She adored spending time with her great-grandkids, to whom she was and always will be affectionately known as “Gramma Shake.” She is survived by her 2 children, 7 grandkids, 15 great-grandkids, and 4 siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 7 siblings. Friends are welcome for visitation on Thursday, March 9, 2006, from 4-8pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sac, CA. Funeral services will be held March 10 at 10am, also at Sunset Lawn. Published in the Sacramento Bee from 3/9/2006 – 3/10/2006.
