Lorraine Anne Morgado's Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lorraine Anne Morgado, who left us in her 80th year, on the morning of October 24th, 2022 in Sacramento, California.
Lorraine was born on March 6th, 1942 to Ronald and Dorothy Sandy. She grew up in San Francisco with her brother Steve attending Catholic school, an education that she revered throughout her life.
In the early 1970’s, Lorraine got her real estate license and sold real estate throughout the Greater Sacramento area. This was followed by a 26 year career she loved as a Court Clerk in the Sacramento Superior Court. After retirement, she found great joy for over 20 years as a volunteer at Kaiser Permanente.
Throughout her life, Lorraine enjoyed extensive traveling, seeing the greatest sights our world has to offer; spending time with friends; gardening and caring for her animals on her & Bill’s homestead; and providing her grandson & great-grandchildren with their most valued life experiences and delicious home-cooked meals.
Lorraine is survived by her adoring husband of 48 years Bill, daughter Laura, grandchildren Gregoire, Cody & Mia; and beloved great-grandchildren Pepper & Harrow. She is also survived by her brother Steve and step children Billy, Christine & Heath; as well as many cherished life-long friends whom she loved dearly.
