Lippolis, Lorraine Eleanor's Obituary
Lorraine Lippolis, 77, passed away on November 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Queens, New York, she later made her home in Sacramento, California, where she built a life filled with joy, connection, and adventure.
Lorraine worked for many years as a legal secretary, a career that reflected her sharp mind, strong work ethic, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Outside of work, she was known for her vibrant spirit and her endless energy. She loved traveling, being outdoors, and she found absolute joy in time spent with her granddaughter. She was the world’s best “Mee-maw,” a constant and enthusiastic presence in her granddaughter’s life with trips to the zoo, museums, and treasured weekends together.
Lorraine had a natural gift for bringing people together. She was the life of every gathering, always ready with a laugh, a story, or a dance. She never met a stranger and was the most loyal friend.
Above all, Lorraine cared deeply for the people she loved. She would drop everything to help a friend or family member, and her generosity and warmth touched everyone who knew her. She cherished her role as a friend, sister, mother, mother-in-law, and especially as a grandmother.
Lorraine is survived by her sisters Angela Henry of Port Washington, NY, and Marianna Reynolds of McKinney, TX, her son Patrick O’Shea, her daughter in law Tracey O’Shea, and her beloved granddaughter Reegan of Sacramento, CA.
Her spirit, love, and light will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
