Lewis Crockett
June 22, 1937 – June 28, 2022
Lewis Crockett of Carmichael, CA passed away on June 28, 2022 at the age of 85 with his wife of 64 years, Ardelle, by his side. He is survived by his wife Ardelle; children, Sharon Mahoney (Steve), Mike Crockett (Rana); sister, Martha Hendricks; brother, Alvin Crockett (Virginia); brother-in-law, Dick Shaffer (Carmen). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Steven Mahoney (Jennifer), Michael Clevenger (Erin), Andrew Clevenger (Anika); and 3 great grandchildren.
Lewis was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Alice.
Lewis grew up in Red Bluff, CA and graduated in 1954 from Red Bluff High School. After high school he moved to Sacramento, CA to start his apprenticeship to become an electrician. He was an electrician with IBEW Union for over 65 years and of those years, 25 was spent working for Schetter Electric.
Lewis worked with Boy Scouts Troop 386 for 10 years. He enjoyed teaching the scouts and helping them earn their ranks.
Lewis enjoyed snowmobiling, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral service is being held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95838. Reception will follow service.
