Leota Mae Hurd's Obituary
Hurd, Leota (Lee) of Palo Alto, passed away on Tuesday morning 5/28/2013 age 84 in her home. Funeral services to be held at sunset lawns. 6/04/2013 Born in Arkansas to Hugh and Ella Mae Bailey 12/01 /1929. One of three children. She was proceeded in death by her sister Dixie Irby she is survived by her brother Jerry Bailey She moved with her Family to Woodland , California where she attended Woodland High School.
Soon after she was married and had 5 children.
She was proceeded in death by her 2 sons Derek Baker, Kenneth Charles Hurd Jr, And her husband Kenneth Charles Hurd Sr.
Lee owned and operated a board and care home for developmentally delayed adults for several years prior to retiring.
She is survived by: daughters LeeAnn Mascroft of Meridian Idaho and Gaylene Thomas of San Leandro California . Ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren .
