LEONARD CORNEL JOHNSON passed peacefully at home December 21, 2012 in Antelope, CA. He was 62. Johnson was born August 14, 1950 in Sacramento, CA. The beloved husband of his devoted soul mate of 37 years, Carol Providence Johnson. The cherished father of Marion Masters (Richard), Lavonna Johnson, and Leonard Johnson, II. The loving grandfather of Isaiah Leon Cosey, Jonah Leonard Masters, Micah Abraham Masters, Austin Donovon Melvin Jackson, Autumn Denise Diane Jackson, Alexis An'jali Jackson, and Michaela Rene Creighton. The dedicated brother of Rosie Jean Jones (Jimmy), Sally Deltharine Johnson, Hercules Vernon Johnson, Donnel Ray Johnson, and Donna Renee Johnson. He is also survived by Clara Ruth Nelson (Aunt), Mirian Johnson (Sister-in-law), and an extensive host of family and friends. Leonard is preceded in death by Sally Elizabeth Johnson Love (Mother), Jimmy Johnson, Sr. (Father), Pastor A.C. Love (Step-father), Jimmy Johnson, Jr. (Brother), Gloria Minniefield (Sister), and Pastor Hercules Benbow (Grandfather). Family and friends are welcomed for visitation hours held Thursday, December 27, 2012, 4:00 to 8:00pm with a musical tribute at 7:00pm and a graveside service will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 1:00pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes.
