Well Daddy Darling, your memorial service is today and I think you will like it. Mike and I are picking up Mom in time to be at the church at 10:00 to receive the flowers and set up your urn, flowers, Grannie's picture she had of you on her mantel, paint can, paint brushes and three other pictures of all the kids you loved to tease and scare (Anthony, Jenee, Bonnie, Crystal, Nicole, Kyle, Kacy, Amrin, Ryan). Kenny will play before and after the service the CD he made that will show the pictures we picked of you with the four songs we chose to go with them (Working on the Building by Elvis, How Great Thou Art by Ray Price, Fly Away by Jerry Lee Lewis, As the Saints Go Marching by Louis Armstrong). Jeannie will be at the guest registry with Don helping and handing out pamphlets (we picked out a beautiful poem to go inside and the outside has a little white church that reminded me of Harrisburg. Duane is going to start with a welcome, Phillip is going to sing and play the piano "Lord I'm Coming Home" putting in the part you used to sing to Nicole, Crystal, Bonnie and Mom, "Lord I'm coming home, I don't want to, but Helen says I have to, Lord I'm Coming Home." Kacy is going to speak and you never know what he might say. Phillip is going to speak. Other people will have a chance to say something. Phillip is going to sing another song but I forget what it is. Frank is going to preach a little. Then food will be served in the dining hall. We know how you love to eat. Judy made the deviled eggs you love so well, baked beans, pasta salad, pies, bean dip and chips, coleslaw with Cuz Helen doing the dressing. One of your favorite people, Charlotte Bush, is bringing something and of course two of your most loyal visitors Carole and Joey. When thinking of Charlotte I remember the birthday party we had for you, Cuz Helen and Charlotte. You, Jim and Mike wore those bandanas so I could take a picture. There will be so many of your loved ones, relatives, friends and church family at the service. This will be a day honoring a wonderful man. A happy day that you are out of pain, in heaven with Jesus and your loved ones that went before you, and a sad day because we miss you so much and have to wait to see you. That's why all of the wonderful memories are so important. Well I have to go take a shower now. I will write later and tell you about the day. Love you so Corkie Dale, your Glenda Lee
