Lela Ann Baker's Obituary
Lela Ann Baker was born on January 15, 1935 to Hassell and Lorena Brown in Dennison, TX. She received her wings after a short battle with an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer on Monday, May 25, 2020 while at home with her caregiver niece, Shirley.
She was a loving sister and aunt. She attended Macedonia MBC under the leadership of Rev. E.L. Vanardo where she served on the Usher Board, Mother's Board and the Women's Ministry. After retiring from Rancho Seco after over 18 years, she often combined her two loves -- family and travel -- and traveled out of state to visit family and friends. She was the heartbeat for each of us, especially as our own mothers passed.
She leaves to cherish her memory one brother, William Brown, Sr. from Sacramento, CA, a special daughter, Dorothy Jean and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
