LaVona Platis' Obituary
Our Darling and Beloved Mother, LaVona Anderson Platis passed away peacefully and entered into her eternal rest on June 23, 2022, at the age of 88. She was surrounded by all 7 of her children at Sutter Hill Hospital in Roseville, Ca. Born Jan 19, 1934 to Samuel Glen and Alta Spencer Anderson in Aurora, Utah, the third of five children, Darwin, Gene, Julian and Althea. She grew up on a beloved farm in Aurora, Utah.
She had strong work ethics and retired from AAA as a Sales Representative for insurance at the age 67. She was the first woman sales rep.
She was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren whom she adored and loved immensely.
Mom loved her family, friends, and enjoyed quilting, swimming, camping and loved bringing the family together yearly in Arnold, Ca.
