McMANUS, LaurettaFloretta “Nana”Entered into rest Friday, July 7, 2006 age 83. A native of Cumberland, Rhode Island born Friday, August 8, 1924 and a resident of the Sacramento area for the past 22 years. Precious mother of Bill McManus of Rio Linda and Kathy Scherer of Versailles, Missouri. Loving grandmother of Dennis (Crystal) Scherer, Shawn (Tina) Sherer, Michelle (Oscar) Blake, Angela (Mike) Ganem and Billy McManus. Also survived by 9 1/2 great grandchildren, Dennis, Tyler, Sydney, Madison Scherer and Kristina, Melissa, Patricia Blake, Jessica McManus and Eliscia Ganem. Dear sister of Bertha Stuart of Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband William J. McManus in 1980, a sister Rita Doty and both parents Bertha & Alfonse Marchand.
