However as I got older, you remained my hero. You're drive to succeed, your tireless heart, was always an inspiration to me and to your family. I worked with Laura for several years and can say that she is one of the finest individuals I've ever known, both as a person and an employee. She was kind, thoughtful, respectful, and would do anything for anyone, often without being asked. And there was also no one tougher, or more resilient. In spite of dealing with serious medical matters and complications on a seemingly daily basis, that would bring most ordinary people down, she just kept showing up to work and never, ever complained. I had about as much respect for her as anyone I've known. Our office was worse off after she left and this world has lost one of its best people.
