Kevin Bernard Rhodes' Obituary
Kevin Bernard Rhodes was born on October 11, 1958 to Obed Rhodes (deceased) and Fageleane Rhodes in Gadsden, Ala. He marked the sixth child of their union.
Kevin attended St. Peter Claver Elementary School in Gadsden, Ala. until the family relocated to Sacramento, CA in 1967. He finished his high school education at Norte Del Rio High School in 1978. After high school, Kevin enlisted into the U.S. Army. His military career was short lived, with an honorable discharge, due to a medical condition.
Kevin loved reggae music and martial arts movies. His love for outdoors lead him to hobbies such as fishing and camping.
On January 9, 2014, the angels of the Lord blew their golden trumpets and called Kevin home.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Fageleane Rhodes; 7 Siblings, Cecil Rhodes (Pat), Delores Culpepper (Charles), Barbara Rhodes, Carl Rhodes, Natalie Rhodes, Yul Rhodes (Kim), Lillian Winrow (Derrick); 10 nieces/nephews; and 5 great- nieces/nephews.
