Katinka Minns' Obituary
Katinka “Tinka” Minns, formerly Katinka Rhodes, was born January 9, 1938, and passed away gracefully on March 27, 2024.
In her lifetime, she was a music lover, a genealogist, a caregiver, and a huge flirt. She worked as an infant caretaker at Shalom School and a payroll clerk at Sears, but her passion was history and family, which she expressed through genealogy research, and the occasional computer game.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Lillian Rhodes; a brother, Richard Rhodes; her husband, John Minns; a daughter, Robin Alverson; two grandsons, Bobby Alverson and Sonny Alverson; and a stepson, Carl “Lasagna” Minns.
Services are to be held at 10:00 a.m. April 19, 2024, at Chapel of the Chimes in Sacramento.
