Kathryn Clarice Carlton's Obituary
Kathryn Clarice Carlton passed away peacefully on March 28, 2017 in Sacramento, with her beloved husband by her side. Kathryn was born on October 30, 1922 in Bristow, OK. Survived by her husband of 74 years, H. Gene; daughters Sandy Hayer and Carol Carlton; grandsons Jeff, Greg and Steve Hayer. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter Kathy Willis. She leaves behind her cherished dog, Missy. Kathryn enjoyed time with her husband, camping and fishing. She was an incredible cook, among her most loved dishes were fish, fried chicken and pecan pie. She excelled at handwork and was very artistic.The Carlton family would like to thank Denise Walker and the staff at Golden Moments Care Home, and Interim Hospice, both for the wonderful care of Kathryn. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral Services on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95838. Entombment to follow at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
