I can say so many things about my mom but the one word that covers it is Hero. She is, was and always will be my hero. She was so strong, loving, funny and she cared so much about family and friends. Thank you all for you thoughts and prayers.

Karen was always one of my favorite cousins. Even as a small child, she had that sweet smile that lit up the room. She was beautiful inside and out and will be greatly missed. Until we meet again…..love, Judy
When we were young my sister and I would go to stay with Aunt Karen and my Grandpa (George Engelmann) quite often. Aunt Karen would always take us for a walk to the nearby store to buy us bags of candy. On our walks over she would drop quarters on the ground without us knowing and point them out to us to pick up. I didn't learn that she was actually dropping them until years later. I was always confused at why only that street was scattered with quarters… I'm going to miss her and her smile that could light up a room. Love you Aunt Karen!
Karen was always the fun aunt. My brother and I would visit Carmichael during the summer to stay at my Grandpa's and Karen would entertain us the entire time. Doing anything with her was always an adventure. Even just walking to the store around to corner to get "mystery fun bags". She had a beautiful and loving spirit, even through her illness. Will love and miss her always.
Karen was my sweet mother-in-law and treated me so good from the first time I met her. She raised three wonderful kids, one being my husband. I always loved their silly , playful, comfortable relationship. I was so blessed to have her in my life. I only wish it could have been longer and that her young grandkids could have enjoyed her sweetness in their childhood. RIP "mom". Luv u
Words cannot describe crazy Karen June my cousin. She is one of the funniest people I know. I am so grateful I am related to her. She is a wonderful woman. Her girls are a mirrored reflection of her beauty and goodness. So glad to know she is no longer trapped in a body whos mind was not functioning properly. So glad to know she is back home with her mom and those who know and love her. We will miss you but we will see you again. Love Conniegene (Boston) Packer and family.
Karen has always been dear to me ! Every time I saw her I would tell her how beautiful she was and that I loved her very much. You are in a better place now and someday I hope to see your beautiful face again. Love Aunt Janet
FEISTY and FUN! My sister gave me the first black eye I can remember when she was 8 months pregnant with Erika. She was always proud of that and threatened to give me another one every time I saw her! And FUN….The party always got better when she arrived! Love You Karen❤️, George
I always told Karen how much I loved her and how beautiful she was. When she was in the home I passed the information thru Tamara to tell her how beautiful and loved she way. I am going to miss her.
