I’m so sorry for loss. I knew Pastor Mason for years and she and I would go to different churches and I would listen to her preach. When I first heard her preach at New Testament I was hooked on her preaching style and messages. She was such a powerful force.
She will be missed dearly.
I remember the warmth and Big smiles Pastor Mason welcomed me with and my wife, son, and family. Pastor always brighten my day, and shared some great stories. If my life was not right she had a bible verse and a story to lift me up. If i was doing well she prayed for me and my family. Even when i got injured Pastor prayed for me! I can recall our starting of the Three Way Prayer line. You , Mother Womack, and myself. We prayed, shared many laughs, yelled at each other to wake up or close out the prayer. IAnd now look how many lines are still ringing. You’re an amazing woman of God, I will cherish our memories. Rest in eternal peace.

Pastor Mason she was 3 things to me.
She was my teacher, my mentor and my comforter.
Rev. Mason showed me how to teach children and have them love god.,you prepared me to take over so you can be used by God in other areas of the church and you helped me and my wife as we processed through the sadness of loosing our unborn child. It’s hard to write this because there are so many ways you’ve touched my life that words can’t fully convey. How do you put into words someone who didn’t just preach about God but showed us how to live for Him every single day? How do you sum up a life that was so full of love, faith, and Holy Ghost power that it left a mark on everyone who met you?
You didn’t just teach the Word, you lived it.
You didn’t just say “Trust God” you modeled it, in every season, no matter what.
When I rededicated my life, you were the one who baptized me. You spoke into my life, saw the calling on me before I could see it, and reminded me that I was chosen. You ordained me, covered me, and believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself.
You were a Yokebreaker and chains didn’t stand a chance when you prayed. You reached people where they were through events in the park, through feeding and clothing the community, through loving the ones others overlooked. You made space for everyone, no judgment, just grace and truth.
When you founded Antelope Upper Room Ministries — “A Shelter from the Storm,” you built more than a church. You built a refuge. A place where prayer had power, where worship lifted burdens, where the Holy Spirit was always welcome.
You lived like the believers in Acts 1 and 2, where the story of the Upper Room begins.
After Jesus rose from the dead, He told His followers to wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Holy Spirit. They didn’t know when it would come, but they obeyed. They stayed together, praying and worshiping with expectation.
And in Acts 2, the Spirit came. It came like a rushing wind and like fire. Ordinary men and women were filled with Holy Ghost power from Heaven. They left that Upper Room on fire for God, bold enough to change the world.
Pastor, that’s how you lived. You knew how to wait on God. You trusted His timing. And when the Spirit moved, you moved.
You reminded us:
“You are the head and not the tail.” (Deuteronomy 28:13)
“You are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you.” (Romans 8:37)
Pastor, I can’t thank you enough for your love, your faith, and your example. Your life changed mine. And though it’s hard to say goodbye, I know your legacy will keep living in me and in all of us who were blessed to know you.

Antelope Upper Room Ministry — A Shelter from the Storm
Pastor Juanita Mason (R.I.P.) was the first pastor to truly make me feel welcomed in a church and loved in my inner/spirit somthing I desperately needed. Antelope Upper Room Ministry became my home, and under her leadership, I experienced the love of Christ poured out in powerful, Spirit-filled ways.
These are just a few pictures from one of the many diaper drives she led — always with purpose, passion, and a servant's heart. I had the honor of serving under Pastor Mason’s leadership for over 10 years, but it was so much more than service. It was family. It was transformation.
I miss her deeply. Her voice still echoes in my heart, especially when I cry — I hear her singing *“When the Battle is Over.”
Lately, I’ve been on autopilot... but today I pause to thank God for blessing me with such a gifted, loving, anointed vessel. Her legacy lives on.
The poems, the stories and her walk in life are what I will always remember. We were on the bus together and we talked about family and the Lord all the way to Reno. She was a joy to be around. She put my mother’s name in her book, Mary Alice Walton. Our families were close from back in the 1970’s. I will miss Pastor and her comical but serious attitude.
