Juanita Floretta Mason's Obituary
Juanita Floretta Mason (Pittman) was born in Mobile Alabama on March 29 1951 to the late Henry & Queen Pittman. She departed this life peacefully on July 7 2025 at home surrounded by her family.
Juanita grew up and attended her elementary years in Pritchard, Alabama until her father was relocated by The United States Army to McCllellan Air Force Base stationed in Sacramento California where she attended and graduated from Norte Del Rio High School, American River College, & Bible College.
Juanita worked for the City of Sacramento Public works department and then retired from City of Sacramento Fire Department as their Lead Public Education Officer. Simultaneously her love for God grew as she served in several different capacities at our family home church. She was released from New Testament Baptist church and gave birth to Antelope Upper Room Ministry, Chosen Vesels, Prayer Line, Poet - Yokebreaker and an author of spiritual enrichment books.
Juanita received her call to ministry and never looked back. Her love for God and his people was enormous and she saw the best in others even when most people counted others out, she chose to love on others no matter what state they were in, she saw the good and helped to mentor countless others. She gave generously and was a cheerful giver.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving Mr Honey (spouse: Melvin Mason) of 45 years of (Antelope, CA) Son Timmel Pittman (Tami Pittman) Grandsons: Keenan Pittman, Darell Pittman (Ciera) Daughter Apostle Tuesday Nolden (Victor Nolden Sr) Grandson Victor Nolden Jr. Granddaughters: Robin Moran (Ramone Moran) Robinae Ford, Kandace Adley. Two sisters: Linda Pittman of Sacramento CA, Dr. Tywanna Hendricks (Don Hendricks) of Roseville, CA and a host of great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces & other loving relatives & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, niece.

The Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday August 2 2025 at New Testament Baptist Church at 11am.
