Johny Lloyd Smith's Obituary
Johny Lloyd Smith, age 81, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, June 22nd 2016, in his home in Sacramento, California. He was born February 1st, 1935 in Bristow, Oklahoma to parents Melvin Raymond Smith and Lillie Mae White. He moved to California and resided there most of his life. John had a long career as a business owner. He worked for most of his life in the tree service and firewood industries. John truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures- by spending time with his loved ones, taking trips to the casino, and chatting with friends and family over a cup of coffee or a game of Texas Hold ‘Em. John was a compassionate man and a lover of animals. He had an uncanny ability to touch people’s lives in a deep and positive way. He is pre-deceased by his loving wife Jean, his son Steven and step-son Gary. He is survived by his children John Jr., Cindy, Debbie, Russell, and Sharen, and his step-sons Billy and Terry. Family, friends, and others whose lives John touched are all invited to Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes on Tuesday, June 28th 2016. Viewing will be from 8 to 10am and the service begins at 10am. The chapel is located at 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento CA 95838.
