John Francis Stine's Obituary
John Francis Stine passed away peacefully at his home in Rocklin, CA on April 2, 2016, at the age of 66.
John was born October 30, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio and raised by his parents, Marceil Conaway, Charles Stine and stepfather Charles “Ed” Conaway. He graduated from Whitmer High School and went on to serve our country in the United States Navy.
John was a member of the Conn-Weissenberger American Legion Post 587 and Color Guard. He was an avid horseshoe player, golfer and enjoyed classic car shows. Most of all, John, was a devoted husband, father and papa.
John is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Vicki Stine, his daughters, Kristin (Kanae) Edwards, Jessica (Delondon) Harrison and two grandchildren, Skylar and Zoe Harrison.
John is lovingly remembered by his mother, Marceil Conaway, his sisters, Carla (Chuck) Ryder, Bonnie (Norm Black) Stine, Kim (Ron) Sliwa and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95838 on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 1:00pm.
