SMITH, JO ANN MAE, entered into rest Friday, September 4, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She is a native of Cherry Run, Pennsylvania born Tuesday, May 7, 1940 and a resident of the Sacramento area for the past 29 years. Beloved wife of Leroy for 48 years. Devoted mother of Daniel (Sky), Leroy Jr. (Tammy) and Frank. Loving grandmother of Amy, Christine, Joey, Daniel Jr., Angel, Nichole and Tamber. Also survived by brothers Walter and Charles. She is preceded in death by her mother Mildred Smith also brothers Levi and Jim Smith. Jo Ann loved to go to yard sales and collected Avon Bottles and also an Albee Doll collector. A special thank you to Melinda from Vista Hospice. The family invites you to attend a visitation 4:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 and a funeral service at 10:00am on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95838. A burial will follow at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
