Jill Ellen Bryant's Obituary
Jill Ellen Bryant, 56, passed away peacefully at her home on January 3rd, 2016 with her family by her side.
Jill was born on August 26th, 1960 in Sacramento, California. She is the daughter of Ralph Johnson and Phyllis Fleenor. Jill was one of four children (Marvin Johnson, Jan Randolph and Lori Johnson). She has one son, Justin Bryant, and a soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Shawna Dellos, who has recently given her a beautiful grandson named Greyson Harold Bryant.
Jill was a loving and caring woman who would do anything for her family and friends. She enjoyed many things, such as family camping trips, going to the casino, Christmas decorating, late night karaoke and knitting. Her favorite thing in the world was being “Aunt Jill”. She loved to watch and spoil her many nieces and nephews and especially could not wait to be “Grandma”.
In 2012 Jill met Jeff Burkhart and they fell madly in love with each other. Jeff gave her joy and happiness. They both battled health conditions, but they never let it keep them from the things they loved most: family and each other.
In early 2015 Jill was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer but was not going to let that keep her from the people and things she loved. Jill was determined to meet her first grandchild. She knew she had a long battle ahead of her and vowed to never give up and fight until the end. She did just that. Jill was a fighter and kept great spirits during her battle. Unfortunately, the cancer overcame her.
Jill will always be remembered for love and a great sense of humor. She shared many loving memories with everyone in her life. Her love for life will be greatly missed. She was reunited in Heaven with her father and will be watching over her family.
Service to celebrate Jill’s life will be soon to follow. Date and time of service and celebration of life will be posted on this page as well as Facebook. There in an “In Loving Memory of Jill Bryant” Facebook page that will also have the service details. Also, on this page will be contact information for her son, Justin Bryant, for any further questions or details.
