Jerald "Jerry"Alonzo Carey's Obituary
Jerald Carey born August 25, 1966 and called home August 22, 2016. He was known to the world as Jerry, Papa and Pops. He is survived by his kids, Jerald, Jr. and Heather, his son in law Saul and his pride and joys, his grandsons Jeremiah and Jaden. He is also survived by his brother John and his family and many, many close friends he considered family. Jerry enjoyed many things such as Fishing, Softball and going to sporting events especially when it was his Oakland Raiders. He loved helping any and everyone and would literally give the shirt off his back. He got the most pleasure out of life when he was with his grandsons, watching them play sports, telling jokes or just sitting together. Jerry also loved coaching. He was able to help coach High School basketball where he developed a passion for helping the kids who needed just a little more tough
love and still to this day has a great relationship with them and their families. If you ask anyone to describe Jerry and what made him unique the first thing would probably be his jokes and sense of Humor. He loved to laugh and make others around him laugh even if you were a stranger. His heart was huge and golden. He will be deeply missed and leaves a large hole in all our hearts. We will always have a void that will never be replaced. Rest easy Dad,
Papa, Pops, and Friend.
We all love you.
