Jay Thomas Tucker's Obituary
Jay “Tom” Tucker was a big man with a will of steel and a heart of gold has gone to his reward. Tom succumbed to pancreatic cancer on Mary 13, 2016 at the age of 62. Tom is survived by his loving wife Sabra ,stepdaughter Stacy Laslett (Jon), granddaughter Lucille Laslett, sons Brian and Mark Tucker, Brother Joe Tucker, Father -in-law Edward Speegle and many friends.
Tom retired as an organizer for District Council 16, Northern California, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. He was a long time member of Local 767 International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, w3here he served as president for 4 years. Tom was very talented and could fix, restore or repair almost anything. he loved his pewter collection, his motorcycles, and golf outings and picnics with his union buddies. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service is being planned for late April.
