LEWIS, Janice AnnetteEntered into rest July 2, 2006 in Sacramento, age 71. A native of St. Paul, Minnesota born July 16, 1934 and a resident of the Sacramento area for the past 62 years. She is survived by her sons Dan Lewis, Todd Lewis and James Lewis. Also daughters-in-law Sherry, Lisa and Jennifer Lewis, grandchildren Duke, Tracey, Bailey, and Reece Lewis. She is preceded in death by her husband Wes, both parents Oscar and Lena and a sister Jeanie. She was a long time resident of North Sacramento and was active in her church and many community organizations to assist the youth of her area. She was also the matriarch of her neighborhood, known as “Grammy”, and willingly helped and mentored countless people of diverse cultures and backgrounds. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, and she took every opportunity to spoil all of them. The single love of her life was her husband Wes “Pappy” Lewis to whom she was married for 38 years. May you finally be reunited and rest in peace together. You will be greatly missed by your family and all who had the pleasure of knowing you. The family invites you to attend a memorial service 10:00 am Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Bethel Lutheran Church 1200 Alamos Ave. Sacramento, CA.
