James Oran Carbaugh's Obituary
James Oran Carbaugh was born on October 14, 1945 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He entered into piece on January 18, 2014. Jimmy attended Highlands High School until 1962 then on his 17th birthday he joined the United States Army. He was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany during the Vietnam War. 1060 he went to Vietnam under a government contract employed by Dynalectron where he worked on repairing electrical systems on the Huey Helicopters on the flight line as well as in the field. He Also was the founder and president of J.C. Trucking , Inc. in the 1970’s and 80’s. He worked for Teichert’s Aggregate Plant in Woodland for 10 years before retiring.
He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Jacqueline, two daughters Kimberly and Jamie, three granddaughters, Jessica, Holley and Emily. He is Also survived by sons-in-laws, Tom and Ron as well as family members and many friends. He was a loving husband and father who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Friends are welcome to attend the graveside service, Friday, January 24, 2014 at 1:00 pm. A Memorial Service will held at Zion Lutheran Church, 3644 Bolivar Ave, North Highlands, CA immediately following burial at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow at church.
