BENNETT, JAMES DOUGLAS entered into rest July 19, 2002, at the age 56, in Rio Linda, CA. Born February 14, 1946 a native of Vallejo, CA. A resident of Rio Linda for 16 years. James is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Linda Bennett, his children Brandie Rickard (daughter), Jeff Spellman (son), Matt Rickard (son-in-law), his grandchildren Kayla and Tyler Rickard and Alic Spellman. He is also survived by his father Peter Lemos, his brothers Chris Lemos, Jeff Bennett, Barry Bennett and sister Leslie of Napa, CA., and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, father and mother-in-laws, and lots of friends- Debbie Vogeli, Darrell and Cathy John just to name a few. James is preceded in death by Pauline Lemos (mother) and Clara (aunt). He loved to fish, work with wood and to spend time in his yard. The family invites friends to attend a visitation Tuesday, July 23 from 4:00-8:00pm and funeral services Wednesday, July 24 at 12:00 noon at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacramento.
