Jacob Dean Luckart's Obituary
July 27th, 1999 - June 18th, 2021
Jacob Dean Luckart was laid to rest on June 18th, 2021 at Sutter Hospital after a long hard fought battle with Leukemia.
His battle with serious health issues showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Jacob
fought hard and stayed strong till the end. Jacob was not afraid to do things that were uncomfortable or challenging for
him. Jacob Graduated from Rio Linda High school in 2017, while he was attending he participated in the chess club and
JROTC which he was always passionate about. After Graduation he was off to join the United Sates Navy. Jacob was
many things but scared was not one of them. He graduated bootcamp, A-school, and was then stationed in Norfolk,
Virginia working in Logistics. Jacob also had a deep love for chess, cribbage, television, and online gaming which is
something he would partake in quite often with his free time. Be careful playing chess with him you might find yourself in
trouble really quick, he had no problem whooping your ass while also gloating about it. It was amazing how in depth
Jacob would be describing things he loved whether that was gaming, the military, or family. Many people may not have
been able to break through Jacobs body shield to really know him and his true feelings. The ones that he did let in
however were able to see how smart, caring, inspiring, and how incredibly special he really was. He developed a truly
amazing bond with his sisters, especially Alyssa who was also his stem cell donor over his last few years with us. He will
be missed by many but never forgotten. He has inspired strength and courage in many and will continue to do so for
years to come. Jacob is survived by his mother Angela, dad Jack, sisters Alyssa, Destiny, and Caytlin, and father Ryan.
