Hugh Warren Thrower's Obituary
Hugh Warren Thrower was born February 19, 1921 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Augustus and Cora Thrower. Hugh passed away September 23, 2015 at 94 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda “Jo” Thrower. they were married 51 years. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his children Scott Thrower, Dennis Jones, Linnie Jones and Jackie Holliday. Grandchildren Nicole Jones, Derek Jones, Joshua Holliday, Eric Holliday, Sara Lehrfeld, Kenneth Thrower and numerous additional grandchildren. He is also survived by several great grandchildren. When he proposed to his wife he had the song “Welcome to my world” playing.
He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends are welcome for visitation, Thursday, October 1st, 2015, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and are respectfully invited to attend the graveside service Friday, October 2, 2015 at 11:30am, both held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes and Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
