Hildegard Katerina Heikkinen's Obituary
Hildegard passed away peacefully in Sacramento, California on April 3, 2018.
Hildegard K. Heikkinen was born on November 28, 1939 in Yugoslavia to parents Matthias and Mary Weckerle. At twelve years of age her family immigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin from Germany. Hilda would later relocate to Sacramento, California.
Hilda leaves behind two brothers, Alfred and Peggy Weckerle from CoQuille, Oregon, Joe and Gee Weckerle from Maui, Hawaii. Four children, Ernie and Shelley Chaulklin of Kansas City, Missiouri, Linda Bourne of Placerville, California, Theresa Velazquez of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Albert and Marisa Irizarry of Salem, New Jersey as well as eight grandchildren, seven greatchildren, and other nieces and nephews whom she loved.
She also loved jazz and country music, gardening and flowers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Matthias and Mary Weckerle.
