Herren Tucker's Obituary
July 20, 2012 God called Herren Tucker to rest. Herren was one of four children who are now deceased; Mary Maude Sills, Grover Tucker and Mazie Palmer. He was survived by his loving wife, Jeanette and four daughters; Meronica Dobson, Rochelle Foster, Kimberley Smith (deceased) and Herrie Yarborough. Herren had 8 grandchildren; Candace Kastanis, Phillip W. Dobson Jr, Carmen Johnson, Rachel Parrish, Sylvonia Smith, Anthony Smith, LaTonya Logan, Christophe Yarborough and 18 great grandchildren.Herren Joined the U.S. Navy and while on shore leave in Oakland, CA met and married Naomi Wright. Upon completing his tour of duty the two joined his family in Minneapolis, Minnesota where Meronica, the first daughter was born and Rochelle following 2 years later. Carrer opportunities with the Army Corps of Engineers brought him to California. The family grew to include two more daughters, Kimberley and Herrie.Herren distinguished himself in his career and was elevated into managerial positions. After a thriving career he retired. During that time his wife Naomi succumbed to cancer. He survived the loss of his wife by renewing his faith. While attending a church event he was blessed with meeting a wonderful lady, his present wife Jeanette Exum.Friends are welcome for visitation, Thursday, July 26, 2012, 4:00pm to 8:00pm and are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Friday, July 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm both held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95838
