Herculano Sanchez's Obituary
Entered into rest on Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at the age of 78. A native of El Paso, Texas born on a Saturday, July 3, 1926 and a resident of Sacramento for the past 54 years. Beloved husband for 40 years to Eloise Sanchez. Loving father of Esther Vasquez, Lupe Reynders, Ernest Flores, Lydia Rios and Robert Sanchez. Dear brother of Victor Sanchez. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents Herculano and Refugia (Lopez) Sanchez, a daughter Barbara Seveir and a son Edward Sanchez. He was a member of Local #185 for 24 years and the Vice President of Retirees Local #185 also the Vice President of the Mexican-American Baseball League, Rio Linda Little League from 1972 through 1979. He also founded the Thriftway Market Christmas Food Basket and Toy Drive from 1983 through 1993. He loved fishing and was a long time Giants and 49er fan. The family invites you to attend a visitation 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:30 pm on Monday, July 19, 2004 and a funeral of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacto., Ca 922-5833. Interment to follow at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
