Henry F. Jackson
Henry Forrest Jackson was born in Auburndale, Florida on July 31, 1941. He entered into Heaven on May 12, 2014 in Rio Linda, California. He grew up in Baker Florida; he played football in high school and received a football scholarship. He lived in a number of places including San Francisco, Fort Lauderdale, Honolulu, and Las Vegas.
He served in the Navy but his career was with the Airlines. He loved spending time with his family, and loved watching his granddaughters grow up. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. His favorite hobby was traveling with Hawaii being his favorite place. His other hobbies he enjoyed were fishing, camping, and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Margaret; daughters, Christine and Sandy; his granddaughters, Madeline and Monica; son-in-law, John who was like the son he never had. His siblings Orel Jr., Wayne, Wilbur, Margaret and Sharon and many other family members including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was reunited in Heaven with his parents, Orel Sr. and Goldie and sisters, Peggy and Carolyn.
He will be laid to rest at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, California.
