In Loving Memory

Grace Eloise Reynolds, youngest daughter of Leander Berry Ward and Bessie Drusilla (King) Ward, was born in Rupert, Idaho, on July 6, 1927. She graduated from Ogden High, Ogden Utah, received a Bachelors Degree in Missionary Course, Northwestern School, Minneapolis, Minnesota, (Theology Seminary and Bible Training School), and attended American River College, Sacramento, California.
Grace married Richard W. Campbell and both attended Northwestern School in Minnesota.
Upon graduation from Northwestern School, Grace served several ministries at the First Church in Ustick, Idaho , Plymouth, Oregon, Monticello, Utah, and Vida, Montana. She later was employed at a Credit Union and at Auerbachs in Ogden, Utah, Internal Revenue Service, Ogden, UT, Army Depot, Ogden, UT, and McClellan AFB, Sacramento, CA. She retired with 20 years Federal Service.
In 1990 Grace married Colonel Garth L. Reynolds.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents, both spouses, five siblings, three baby sons, and one great grandson.
She is survived by one son, two daughters, five grandchildren and one great grandson.
Grace is also survived by her second husband’s family, who love her beyond measure.
She remained an active part of her step-kids’ lives. She was welcoming and always had a kind word to share. She had a quiet and understated sense of humor and loved to share a joke, but she also had the ability to take things seriously without being serious. She was a confidant and a friend, and we will all miss her very much.
Grace loved music, singing in the choir, and playing the piano and organ. She was an avid reader, loved
to play games on her IPAD and Iphone, and liked to knit and crochet. She especially loved spoiling and
playing with her cat, Salem. She loved to write and had written 2 published articles:
- “Last Mile Home”, published in the Sunday Digest Magazine.
- “God Walked Beside Me” written about the loss of her 3 baby sons, published in Hearthstone Magazine,
She taught various Sunday school, adult, and vacation bible school classes. She loved to travel and see new places including visiting Canada, a cruise to Alaska, touring the United States in a small airplane flown by her pilot husband, “Gabby”.
Grace was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Her family meant more to her than anything else in the world, something she often mentioned. We love her so much and will always hold her close in our hearts. She was granted her desire to GO HOME to our Savior and we HAVE COMFORT AND HOPE in being together with her some glorious day.
