WHEAT, GORDON "LENNY" Best friend to all who knew him. Entered into rest Friday, September 13, 2002 in Stockton, CA. at the age of 51. Born Friday, August 10, 1951 a native of Sacramento, CA. A Stockton resident for 17 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Cheryl R. Wheat, his children Angela Marie Wheat of Stockton, CA, Christina Renea Wheat-Emerson of Foresthill, CA, Denise Lynn Wheat of Sacramento, CA, Gordon L. Wheat Jr. of Stockton, CA, his mother Annie M. Wheat of Lewisburg, TN. his brothers James C. Wheat, Norman C. Wheat of Stockton, CA, Kenneth E. Wheat Sr. of West Virginia and sister Norma K. Luttrell of Lewisburg, TN. Gordon is also survived by 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Kenneth E. Wheat Sr., his sister Barbara J. Smith and his brother John R. Wheat. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 85. The family invites friends to attend visitation Tuesday, September 17, 2002 from 4:00-8:00pm and memorial service Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at 1:00pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacramento. 922-5833.
